Hey there. Welcome to lesson 1 part 2 of WordPress tutorial for Beginners. In this video we will be walking through connecting your domain to hosting. As you can see, I am logged in to my Site Ground account. As previously mentioned for the purposes of the various lessons, lectures and tutorials I recommend and am using site Ground. The main thing that you want to make sure happens is that you properly connect your domain to the appropriate Nameservers. You do this by first identifying your Nameservers and then pointing your domain to them. You do this by managing the DNS settings at your domain’s registrar – then select Nameservers and choose custom and then set your name servers and save. Side Note: Propagation can take up to 48 hours. If you’re using Site ground the settings are pretty much automatic however, you can still check to make sure the settings are correct.
