The State of the Union Of Marketing in 2020: Volume of Content | Ericsson Keynote

This is a brand new keynote Gary did in June at a conference hosted by Ericsson. He talks a lot about his DNA as a salesman and an entrepreneur, immigration, using your skills to your advantage and a lot more. A lot of good Q&A in here!

Your comments are my oxygen, please take a second and say ‘Hi’ in the comments and let me and my team know what you thought of the video … p.s. It would mean the world to me if you hit the subscribe button 😉

  2. I love it when things happen to humans because at least they're not posting on the jungle today gazette.

  3. 🛹 there's a warrant out for my arrest

  4. At about 34 minutes Gary mentions reach versus real communication… real reach. Potential reach versus actualized relevant consumption.

  5. Thank you 🙏🏼 Thank you 🙏🏼

  6. Take away:: Attention…Put things where the consumer's eyes, ears, noses are. Thanks Mister.

  7. Has vayner media tried doing business with Ericsson??

  8. 09:59 – "My luck or DNA of only being consumer concentric has to the honor of talking to you today. There is nothing more entrepreneurial or rogue or disruptive than caring about nothing in the middle but the end consumer. Pandering to nothing; not awards, not the press, not the media, not the B2B environment, not the conferences, not the people that are fancy, just the end consumer. And building leverage there which ultimately gives you leverage with all the things I just mentioned that are in the middle." – Love it!

  9. 2K-5K pieces of content across 7-10 channels PER DAY?!

I think I have some catching up to do!

  10. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🇬🇧🇬🇧

  11. I absolutely love this dude! He makes me feel stronger with my writing projects. I have material for more than 20 books and that’s my fricken passion. And help people improve their eating habits and such. Love 💚

  12. What ever your lemonade stand might be, I need to make sure what ever tree or pole that I'm put my advertising sign on. Is it directed to my customer, and am I making it most multi media possible!

  13. Daily Marathon Energy! Thank you Gary!

  14. as a bills die hard fan … id love to see him own the JETS !!!!

  15. I cannot believe how hard facebook ads are to get right!!!! How long should it take. Have been doing it for over a year and have not got ANY traction or call from there?!!?!?! HELP!?!?!?!?

  16. I'd put this in your top 5 pieces of content (for me)

  17. I can certainly relate with young GaryVee. Lemonade stands on every street corner… In the summer whenever i ran out of lemonade mix i would actually walk my neighborhood and sell glasses of water door to door. Then my parents shut me down when they found out i was actually making money!? In my 7yr old mind i was a genius! Margins were great when I was filling up a pitcher from the sink and selling it at 5$ a glass! 😂😂 😂

  18. As a recruiter by trade, I have always leveraging LinkedIn for engaging potential candidates. Thinking about using it as a B2B tool to attract more clients is genius. One question I do have is: is post production crucial for success or can I post raw footage or content?

  19. I remember being a kid thinking the ppl in these Fortune 5000 companies knew what they were doing. Now I know my generation will eat their lunch. Thanks for updating my thesis Gary.

  20. Finally, a infinite game. Let's go! 🔥

  21. How are you a public speaker and have your left hand in your fucking pocket? 😀

  22. Fellow hustlers! I've recently started the lean startup diet. Would love to hear your feedback on our IG and FB page and of course our Renting Ranting Quarters podcast which we also post here on our YouTube channel. Please let me know if you like my execution or if you have any suggestions to become better. Really appreciate your support! Thanks for throwing out your content for free Gary. You've helped me out as a CEO and a human being. Much respect Gary V. Much respect.

  23. Thanks for sharing this one and the candid conversation you had! Great tips and encouragement, as always!

  24. Hey GV another great keynote! Why don't you wear logo'd shirts for all of your appearances? Aren't you missing out on grabbing some attention for your brand(s)?

  25. props to Gary that he didn't freaked out after they asked him about the magical 5k pieces of content for the 27th time

over 40 min keynote and Q&A and they still don't get it

  26. These keynotes are life to me as a digital marketer going through the journey I get so excited about the power that this new industry can have on the success of small businesses I can't even contain it and it's so crazy to see that even big companies still don't get it as I run into small business owners who are completely lost but I'm committed to teaching every one of those small business owners I reach because it's really that important!

  27. Gary veeeeeeeeeeeeee THANKS for the inspiration and the free advice your the best #askgaryvee

  28. all these people listening to Gary,
    confirming what he says,
but most of them won't start working on what he said, because they don't know how. Most of the people don't konw how to use social media, they talk more about the networks than using them.

  29. Gary, I know you 👀 this. You ripped their fuckin faces off!!

  30. Hey as an independent distributor how much social media content should I put out a day? Thanks 👍

  31. you literally say so much shit without saying shit at all. its fucking insane.

  32. This is interesting that few years back when I was in telecom PR was very small department and mostly one senior Chinese person used to be face for the company in most media related work, so much has changed by now but they feel like same kind of not doing much in this field.

  33. What are Gary's thoughts on whether or not cold calling still has any value in B2B?

  34. Man I disagree. I guess I didn't give the entire video a chance… Don't count after 15 seconds, but it's engagement – quality – over quantity
