Should You Pursue Passion or Profit?

During a recent podcast session with Allen Robinson, They took a question from a live caller about choosing a career path at something you love versus something you are good at. Gary and Allen both shared their thoughts on the question and how the decision could vary based on your situation. Allen shared that he played football instead of basketball because he was better at it and would help his career. Gary also shares that he always focused on the things that he was better at as he believes if you love it you are willing to do what it takes to earn more from it.

  5. I might be somewhat biased, but if you love what you do you are profiting in so many ways. Success does not always need to be measured by money. Heaps of people profit but are miserable, "I just wanna be happy, don't y'all want to be happy?"

  19. For most people I think focus on passion first and learn how to monetise it. I might be wrong, but I think in the comment Allen Robinson made, he might enjoy basketball more but it's not that his passion for football was lacking. I'd also go higher level in his case, which is sports in general seems a passion for him, so doing something athletic is generally going to make him happy and successful

  20. It's a matter of finding a way to profit from your passion. Great video, I love Gary Vee.

  21. My view .. As a beginner , search for trending stuff to learn that's relate with you and relevant

  22. What are you chasing in your life?
    For example, I'm chasing achievements.
My 9-year-old son is going to be a billionaire.
I'm trying to explain to him that happiness is more important than wealth or money.
He understands me a little bit because he can't understand why I don't buy all the games for him.
With the money I can do it ))
I think he'll understand more when time is right.
What do you think is more essential for you?
