Retail Arbitrage Adventure: How to Make Money Online at Costco Wholesale Sourcing | FBAop

This is the 8th episode of our series “‘Retail Arbitrage Adventure.” In this episode I venture away from the computer, from doing online arbitrage, and hit the pavement to find profitable products to resell on Amazon. I go to brick and mortar wholesale store Costco and find many opportunities for resale. There were so many opportunities there at wholesale pricing it was crazy. I hope this episode helps you think of new ways to source items for you to sell via ecommerce.

This episode is the 2nd of a 3-show arc in which we will compare the wholesale club deals of Sam’s Club, Costco and BJ’s wholesale. If you can think of any other wholesale clubs, please send them our way. We would be interested in adding them to our wholesale challenge. Please email me suggestions at:

Whether you are sourcing Retail Arbitrage (RA), Online Arbitrage (OA), or Wholesale; this video might be interesting and entertaining for you to watch. We are looking to film more RA episodes for you going forward. If you would like to learn how we analyze the market on Amazon SUBSCRIBE to our channel, so you don’t miss out on future episodes.

My Bio:
After I graduated college in 2000 with a degree in Finance I moved to NYC with a few grand in my pocket and became a successful stock trader. I worked on Wall Street and in the NYC area for 17 years trading stocks and options successfully; the last two years have been in South Florida. Around January of 2019 I was feeling tired of trading and was looking for other opportunities to explore. I was looking for a BIG career change. I wanted something with huge upside and day-to-day freedom. I soon discovered Amazon FBA and was hooked. I made my first sale on or about March 12th, 2019 and have grown my sales to around $33,000-$36,000 per month. I feel the opportunities are endless in both selling on Ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Mercari and in helping others achieve their dreams of running their own profitable business.

I have a hugely positive outlook on my future and the future of others. I believe anything is possible in our lives and we are only limited by our own imagination. With persistence and education, you CAN achieve your dreams.

  1. Do you still make money after black Friday and Cyber Monday rolls around? Don't these items get heavily discounted like the backup hard drive ?

  2. I don't have either of those stores around here and always thought they were one of the same. We do have a BJ's so I'll be interested in seeing that one.

  3. I’ve seen a lot of people stick with 50% ROI with RA (30% being their minimum)… Are you doing 20% because you’re trying to win with the velocity of money approach (aka quick sales), or is this because of the current competition of amazon? Another strategy I’ve seen was to hold the items for a few months to get 200%+ ROI (you’ll need a lot a storage for that). Do you ever do long holds or is it all quick sales for you? Thanks, I’m a few months in and still figuring out which strategy to take (right now it’s just making money)…

  4. Man I really really want to do this retail arbitrage
