There is no good or evil economic system. The problem has always been what people chose to do with the systems they construct. If humans are incapable of making their systems work for the betterment of mankind, I do think it will ultimately be the judge of whether the species is worthy of surviving. Capitalism in the United States couldn't have florished without slavery, land extraction and taxation, by the way. Try establishing an isolated, anti-industrial society without any of those and death will find you quickly.

  2. I've just done a quick calculation based on the global population and the total money that's in circulation (there is more tied up in assets, cryptocurrencies, etc).
If it was spread equally between everyone, we would all have $4,743.59

Now consider that 2,095 people are billionaires and 46.8million people are millionaires.
This makes it mathematically impossible for the majority of people to escape poverty.

Capitalism forces the majority of the population to do the work that makes some people at the top of the system rich. It's a system that is ineffective at giving people what they deserve. A lot of hard working people will never possess the big house or the luxury items. Despite money being our creation it ruins lives and that's not even taking into account that the majority of crime only happens because of money.

It's been worked out, with all global resources taken into consideration. That if everyone had an equal share of land, we'd all have 1.88 hectares, that's 18,800 square meters. Yet if someone loses their job and can't pay their bills, bailiffs will come to throw them out of their house. The average house is about 1,200 square meters. Then there's council tax and so on.

If someone decides they don't want to be slave to the system and move out into the countryside, there's hurdles to do that aswell because that space is either privately owned or owned by the council of that area.

So despite 1.88 hectares being the fair share to each and every person. Some unfortunate people end up on the streets because they don't have money.

The only conclusion that can be reasonably made is that capitalism is extremely cruel.

  3. Capitalism isn't Evil… Its just set up by psychopaths so psychopaths can succeed.

    Not at all evil pfft.

No sociopolitical ideology is evil its people that are evil
