For All the 25-Year-Olds Starting From Zero

For All the 25-Year-Olds Starting From Zero

It’s never too late to start over. You can spend the next 5 years trying 10 different things for 6-months and still only be 30 at the end of that. No matter how old you are once you get into the mindset that you “wasted” your time doing something, you are going to go on defense which is where the trouble begins. Stay proactive and never you will never feel like you are falling behind.

  1. I'm 26 so I am listening with all ears…👂👂👂👂👂👂👂

Great mindset. I did fuck up a lot and have been dwelling on it.

  2. I'm about to be 35 in a week… Looking back over the last decade – I'm glad i went through everything i did! Left a PhD program, worked retail, moved bank home, delivered newspapers, did inventories, retail again, then government, and now my own business. Guess what? All the shit i learned in academia, retail (oops – forgot a corporate job i had for a month!), and government – all applicable in business. And business isn't even what i want to do for the rest of my life…but I'll use it to FUND the rest of my life 😊 Life's too short to give a fuck what anyone else thinks of your life path.

If we're not headed towards the same destination…why are you concerned with the road I'm taking?

If we are headed toward the same destination…why does it matter who gets there first?

  3. I'm 31, still recovering from homelessness after years of roller coaster, and FINALLY figuring out my actual niche and my real path toward the career I've been slowly creating a vision of for a decade. I really needed this. Thank you so much for all the great free content you publish.

  4. I’m 24, full-time video editor for 2 years, and just started creating my own videos this year! (2020) I hope some day in the next 3 years I can sustainably support myself through my own content through YouTube/TikTok/IG. 💪🏼

GaryVee is a realist. When you’re young, explore all the potential careers you may want to do while being young. You’ll find a niche that will make you happy and contempt. Also, be financially literate and you’ll manage your finances towards stability and early retirement.

I really appreciate his advice in this video, I’ve had some rough patches in my life but it seems promising that I’m 26 and “still young as fuck” Gary knows how to blow the roof off any negativity and flip it to a positive and that’s what inspires me to chase all my aspirations and staying chill about it… instead of dwelling on every scenario in my head.
